Information and Feedback Event for Workplace Supervisors September 2015

The latest MAHSE Information and Feedback Event for Workplace Supervisors was held on 7^th September 2015. Workplace supervisors were invited who have trainees studying at Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Liverpool, University of Manchester and University of Salford. MAHSE welcomed supervisors from eight different specialisms and there were talks on supervising MSc dissertations and general principles of research ethics. In 2014, we ran a similar event and the podcast for this will still be relevant for those who have not previously supervised MSc dissertations.

Supervisors had the opportunity to network with other delegates over lunch and met the MSc Clinical Science programme teams. The feedback MAHSE received from the attendees was that it was useful to have this opportunity. The presentations for the day have been uploaded to the MAHSE website and can be obtained here;
