The Manchester Academy for Healthcare Scientist Education (MAHSE) is currently working on developing a funded career development programme. With a fund of more than £250,000 available, the programme will offer opportunities to Healthcare Scientists based in the North West region to become further involved in research and innovation focused projects.
In order to develop the programme to meet requirements in the North West, MAHSE is looking to build a North West Healthcare Research Directory, which looks to identify active Healthcare Scientists and research trends in the region.
The directory will help MAHSE to:
- understand how research and innovation is developed in the Healthcare Scientist setting
- identify current innovative projects involving Healthcare Scientists
- identify centres of innovative activity
- develop relationships with research and innovation champions within the Healthcare Scientist community
